Our Mission
First Baptist Church of Moody exists to bring honor and glory to the Lord our God. As a Great Commission Church, we fulfill this purpose through Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Ministry. We desire to express the love of Christ through the way we live, serve, and care for others while faithfully sharing the Gospel with Moody and beyond.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be a church that faithfully carries out the Great Commission by reaching people with the Gospel, growing disciples, connecting people to the body of Christ, and equipping God’s people to do God’s work—God’s way.
We believe it is both a great responsibility and a wonderful privilege to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, ministry, and service, we seek to equip every believer to use the gifts God has given them to serve others and make disciples.
Our desire is to glorify God, share Jesus with Moody and beyond, and help people know Christ, grow in Christ, and serve Christ.
