Leadership

Brad has served as senior pastor since December of 2010 and is a native of Moody, AL. Brad completed his undergraduate degree from UAB graduating with a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences then completed his Master's of  Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and completed his Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary.  Brad has been married to his wife Beth since June of 1996 and they have two girls, Meagan and Abby.

David has served as student pastor since March of 2022 and is a native of Huntsville, AL. David completed his undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College graduating with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. David has been married to his wife, Abbey, since July of 2022.

Jonathan has served as the bi-vocational Worship Leader since March 2015. He has a B.S. in Psychology from UAB, an M.S. in Experimental Psychology from JSU, an M.S. and Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama, and will complete his Ph.D. In Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama in Spring 2023. Jonathan has taught at Moody High School since 2012. He and his wife, Megan, have been married since June 2013 and have two children, Holland and Sloane.

Jeff is the founder and president of Extreme Ministries and was a full time youth pastor for over 20 years. Besides Extreme Ministries, Jeff serves as a pastor to pastors and is a missionary to the US. Jeff and his wife Tammy have been married for 39 years. Jeff was saved on their wedding day in 1984. Jeff and Tammy have 3 married children and 11 amazing grandchildren. Jeff seeks to serve the Lord in every aspect of his life and his life goal is to lead people to Christ and see them find their purpose.

Michaela has been the Children’s Director at FBC Moody since 2019 but has served in the Children's Department since 2012. She’s been married to her husband Heath since 2004 and is the mother to 3 sons, Austin, Sawyer and Mason.

Leah began serving as the church secretary at FBC Moody in September 2016. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Jacksonville State University and taught 2nd grade for 20 years. Leah married her husband, Mike, in 1997 and together they have two children, Jaiden and Micaiah. 

Summer has served as Financial Secretary since July 2016.  She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University.  Summer has been married to her husband, Jason, since 1999.  They have one son, Brighton.

Johnnie started serving as our facilities manager in 2016. He has been married to Michele since 2021. Johnnie works hard to keep our campus running and looking good.
