Children's Ministry
Children are very important to us at FBC Moody. That is why we concentrate so much effort on their learning about Jesus. Our vision is that FBC Moody will be a place where the hearts of our children are pointed to Christ in all that we do. It is the goal of this ministry to lead our kids so that they might come to know, love, and reflect the grace and truth of Jesus to those around them.
At FBC Moody we recognize the great responsibility that parents have of teaching and bringing children up to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. We believe that our primary responsibility is to support parents as they teach and train their children. In order to reach this goal we offer a variety of children's classes and activities.
Nursery
A nursery is provided by church member volunteers and is available for children 0-3 years of age during both Worship Service, Bible Fellowship, and on Wednesday nights.
Bible Fellowship
Children's Bible Fellowship is available for children 4 years of age through 6th grade. This is a time of Bible instruction with an emphasis on practical application and scripture memory.
Children's Church
Children's church is available during the 10:00 Worship Service for children grades 1-4. Children join their families during the first part of the service and are dismissed at the beginning of the sermon for their own special message.
Wednesday Night
On Wednesday nights, the kids participate in Word of Life's Gopher Buddies or Olympian Club which incorporates Bible study with fun and games.
